Remembering Julie Chen

We'll meet . . . someday
Rachel Oliver - colleague and friend

Dear Julie,

From the bottom of my heart I wish I could call you, dear friend, friend I've known for years. I wanted to spend this year in the Philippines getting to know you and learning from you. Now I'm receiving wisdom and advice through blogs, old files, and testimony from others.
Julie, I will be so glad to meet you in heaven. I am so scared about the year ahead-- please know that I will teach for the Lord and for you. The kids miss you so much and I desire to honor your memory. There are so many "I wish"es in my mind, but I know that I must wake up and face the real days and the real class periods, and the real battles without you in person, but in spirit.
Oh God, grant me mercy and strength that I may live a life worthy of Your name, like my sister, Julie Chen.
