(Posted Sep 10 2005) iris chen - sister/cousin hey jules, sorry i couldn't share during your open sharing time, there were just too many people that wanted to talk about you and what you did--i'm so proud of you. i heard you threw this party for 15-20 people in the philippines and you made the only and usual two dishes you know how to make, broccoli beef and corn soup! good thing you spared them from your kimchee spam fried rice concoction haha! :) just kidding. it made me laugh when mommy told me, but i'm so glad you've built so many relationships already during those three weeks you were there. Remember the black mercedes joke? i was so in awe of the niceness of the car that i didn't know what to say except, "it's a..it's a.. black...mercedes!" you and arthur were just like, what the heck iris, retardo! but now i think about it, it's kind of like you. i'm so amazed when i look at everything you've done and how much you've touched people and all i can say is, "yep, that's jules". how much you've influenced me i can't even begin to explain, all i can say is, "yep, that's my sister." i love you so much and we miss you. i left you a note so i hope you read it. i'm glad you're truly home now and i'll be seeing you. save me a dance in front of the closet mirror in heaven! love you, i p.s. don't worry, i drove henry into the garage and i washed him too so he's not gross anymore
