Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of his Spirit, washed in his blood. Indeed, Julie's story was like this beautiful hymn and her life tells of this happy story even now. We missed her dearly. But we will see her someday! It was about 10 years ago at Agape Vineyard, Julie gave her heart to her redeemer, Lord Jesus Christ. Agape was the spiritual birth-bed of Julie and the place where she took the first few steps in following Jesus. Julie was surrounded by her best friends, counselors, and pastors where she was loved and nourished. Julie constantly asked for opportunities to serve like she had endless energy and love to give. Often those who give aren't necessarily people with lots of extra of things to give -- they give out of scarcity. And that is what makes their giving so precious. Their lives are like the sweet fragrance so pleasing and satisfying. Being driven by passion for God's kingdom, Julie joined several ministries sharing and radiating Christ's love. Being her youth pastor, it was a hard thing to bear when this shocking news was delivered from thousands of miles away. At the same time, her testimony encourages us for the rest of our faith journey. And knowing that she is in the arms of her beloved Lord Jesus Christ, gives us infinite amount of joy and hope. Don't we all look forward to that day when all the saints gather in His presence, singing, praising, dancing, and worshipping...! "Perfect submission, all is at rest; I in my Savior am happy and blest, watching and waiting, looking above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love.
