Living example (Posted Sep 06 2005) Liz Kim - Junior year roommate My junior year at UCSD I had the honor of living with Julie and Jocelyn Chow. Now Jocelyn and I were like two peas in a pod, we were ready to soak in all of college life which meant party, party and party. But nope, not Julie! she was determined to find a place to serve God, to share God and most of all to show Him to us. I think back on those college years and imagine all the ways that living with us could have made her want to enjoy the instant gratifications of fun and excitement, we were living in. But Julie's love for God was stronger than any temporary pleasure that the world had to offer. She was going to be the example and show us just how fun and exciting God's love could be. Five years later Jocelyn and I are going to church, supporting each other and remembering all the ways Julie encouraged and helped us along the way. Julie, you are amazing! Thank you for your laughter, your prayers and your constancy. Liz
